SURFACE is one of the thinnest pendant lights on the market. It is available in black- or white-lacquered aluminium and in three different sizes: Ø 30, 50 or 70 cm The thickness for all three sizes is a modest 48 mm.
The lamp works well in both small rooms and large hallways. It can either serve its purpose discretely and anonymously, or contribute to the architectural aesthetics of the room.
SURFACE can also be used as a traditional ceiling pendant with the aid of a suspension kit. This allows the lamp to be suspended up to two metres down from the ceiling, and consequently make rooms with high ceilings seem more welcoming.
It can even be fitted vertically to a wall as an elegant, glowing circle. This is ideal in large walk-through areas, for example. This way, the light source becomes part of the décor.
SURFACE is also available in a recessed version, called SKY.

30 Years of Lighting Design
Ronni Gol founded LIGHT-POINT in 1995, starting from his 16-square-meter student apartment in Copenhagen. Shortly thereafter, the company moved to larger premises. Initially, LIGHT-POINT distributed lamps from other design brands, primarily from Italy. A small kitchen spotlight marked the beginning of in-house production, sparking rapid product development under Ronni Gol's leadership. The company quickly attracted major clients, including several governmental institutions such as Christiansborg and various ministries. To expand the creative vision, Ronni Gol collaborated with external and in-house designers while also designing a number of lamps himself. Among these was the outdoor lamp CUBE, which remains a bestseller to this day. Today, LIGHT-POINT designs, manufactures, and distributes lighting solutions to an extensive international audience worldwide. The company's headquarters is located on Grønnegade in the heart of Copenhagen, near its 800-square-meter flagship store and showroom at the corner of Gothersgade and Borgergade.
Exclusive Collaborations
We are proud to collaborate exclusively with the internationally renowned design studio, Studio F. A. Porsche. This partnership has resulted in two exclusive collections: INLAY and BLADE. These collections seamlessly integrate into LIGHT-POINT's broader portfolio of innovative lighting design, blending almost symbiotically. The lamps are statement pieces – timeless, yet contemporary. Masculine and chic at the same time. In addition to designing, producing, and distributing our own products, LIGHT-POINT also holds the agency for the Italian brand Oluce and the rights to the iconic Danish outdoor lamp Rørhat, designed by Jesper Juhl Pedersen in 1989.
